Choose a particular type of primer depending on the condition of the blinds. I used two trestles and some leftover wood. I let it dried a bit before closing the blinds and spraypainting again. And then spray until the brown is gone.

Laying the blinds down on the table make it easier because there s less tension on the strings. The spray paint can should say how long that will take but it s usually a couple hours. It s a little time consuming to get all the slats back in the notches and facing the same way. Spray each slat with the shellac spray primer until the slat is coated evenly.
