Camry Trunk Lock Stuck

Trunk lock seems to be in open position.

We were traveling and the car was load with luggage. 97 toyota camry trunk latch is stuck not allowing to open trunk how would i get the trunk open. Use wd 40 or any silicone grease spray a bit on your key and on the lock. Sometimes the camry can get stuck in valet mode and they key wont work. In some cases your trunk won t open because you locked your keys in the trunk or it could be because there is an issue that revolves around the actual trunk lock itself. I cannot open the trunk with the key with the keyless remote or with the release on the floor next to the driver s side seat.

I couldn t use the driver s seat trunk release either as valets aren t supposed to have that access i guess. Then put the key in the lock and jiggle it. Regardless of the reason behind the trunk lockout the fact remains that you are unable to successfully access your trunk. The lock itself should it become stuck and refuse to unlatch when you pull the handle or turn the key is not accessible from the outside but must be reached through the interior of the car for safety purposes.

Cant go through the back due to having a speaker system and speaker box is in the way.
